• I'm surprised this article isn't dated 1st of April. ISPs have offered 20 meg down and 800k plus up since unbundling came in. The fastest ISP in the uk generally available - i.e. not through a trial - is BE as mentioned. Their 24 meg down 2 meg up £20 a month unthrottled, unlimited service is by far the best widely available.
  
  I've been with: Pipex, BT, UK Online, 3 or 4 enta net suppliers and Prodigy in the last 4 years and now BE. Be is orders opf magnitude better and faster on reliability, service, speed... it's not even funny how good BE are in comparison. Posted by JD, uk
