Real time messaging - not for the butter fingered

12 November 2007 0:00 GMT / By Ian Hughes

Ever wondered just how good everybody else's typing is? I'm pretty relieved than none of you lot can see mine. Just these few paltry words I provide on a daily basis can take ages once I've finished furiously jabbing away at my poor keyboard only to realise that most of what I've laboured to produced resembles Klingon when I read it back.

This clever little Java based gizmo lets you write a message and then the recipient reads it exactly as it's been typed.

I can't really see any practical use for it other than what the site sets out as it's aim: to make the medium of electronic messaging a little more "emotionally involved". A little cuddlier, if you like.

Pauses, errors and changes are recorded exactly as they're made and so a simple message takes on a whole new animated feel.

It's this journo's worst nightmare really...
