Apple has announced that pre-orders have gone live for the iPhone 4S 7 days ahead of the 14 October release date in the UK.
That's likely to start a pricing war between the networks as they vie for customers to sign up to the new iPhone 4S.
We've detailed all the deals we can find to help you find the best deal in the UK for you.
Apple iPhone 4S deals
Apple aren't offering any deals beyond giving you the chance to upgrade without having to worry about signing up for another contract or convincing your operator to let you upgrade early.
The new phone costs £499 for the 16GB model, £599 for the 32GB model and £699 for the 64GB on the Apple Store website.
Vodafone iPhone 4S deals
Vodafone has announced its pricing for the iPhone 4S on Friday morning starting off what is likely to be a fierce battle by the networks to make sure you order with them over the competition.
iPhone 4S deal hunters will be able to get the new smartphone from Apple for free if they spend £46 a month on a 2 year contract with Vodafone that gives them 1200 minutes, unlimited text messages and 750MB of data.
Those looking to sign up for the shortest duration of contract, so you can upgrade to the iPhone 5 when it comes out next year, will be able to sign up for a 12 month contract for £51 a month paying £139 for the phone. That deal comes with 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data a month. Don't forget as well that signing up for Vodafone gets you access to the data test drive and 3 months of unlimited data to play with.
Those who do decide to pre-order will automatically get £59 back off their bill in November.
Vodafone is also offering significant lumps of cash for your old iPhone 4, with a 16GB version reaching up to £212 in cash. Sadly owners of the first gen iPhone are only going to be taking home £23 if you trade it in.
Orange iPhone 4S deals
Orange is offering a simpler deal with those looking for a new iPhone being able to get one free 16GB iPhone 4S if they spend £46 a month. That £46 quid gives you 900 minutes, unlimited text messages and 1GB of data a month.
Those looking to push the boat out can pay just £99 for the 64GB model, but will have to sign up to a 2 year contract with Orange for £61 a month.
T-Mobile iPhone 4S deals
T-Mobile has kept its pricing very much inline with Vodafone's, offering a 16GB iPhone 4S for those willing to stump up £46 per month on a 24 month contract.
For that you get yourself the same 1200 minutes as Vodafone, but lose out on the text message front, with only 500 to play with. You also have to deal with just 750MB of data to play with, rather than the 1GB offered by Orange.
You do get to pick a flexible booster to go with your plan, which means you can opt for unlimited text messages or if you prefer, go for things like unlimited landline or unlimited T-Mobile talk.
O2 iPhone 4S deals
O2 has yet to announce its deals for the Apple iPhone 4S, but have confirmed they will be stocking it. We will update this story when it does.
Three iPhone 4S deals
Three has now opened its iPhone 4S pre-orders and is offering the cheapest handset prices so far.
The 3G-only carrier is offering a free 16GB iPhone 4S on a £43 per month, 24 month contract, which will also give you 900 minutes, 1GB of data and 5,000 texts.
There are several all-you-can eat data deals, with a £35 per month, 24 month contract also offering 2,000 minutes of talk time and 5,000 texts. The handset price if you opt for this package will be £279 for the 64GB iPhone 4S. Alternatively, you can opt to pay £50 less for the phone, and get a £35 per month contract, which gives you 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and 1GB of data.
Verizon iPhone 4S deals
Verizon has taken a relatively straightforward approach to its iPhone 4S approach, adding $100 dollar jumps for each handset memory upgrade.
A 16GB iPhone 4S will set you back $199 on a 24 month contract with unlimited text, picture, video and instant messaging. You also get free Verizon to Verizon calls and unlimited night and weekend minutes.
The contract itself comes in three separate forms, in either 450 minutes for $59.99 or 900 for $79.99 or for the really talkative, unlimited for $89.99. 2GB of data to play with is going to add $30, going all the way up to 10GB for $80.
Sprint iPhone 4S deals
Exactly the same pricing as Verizon on the actual handset front here, meaning $199 for the 16GB, $299 for the 32GB and $399 for the 64GB.
You are then presented with a choice in terms of free minutes between 450, 900 or unlimited. The cheapest option, the 450 is priced in at $69.99, with $89 for the 900 or $99 for the unlimited. You get all the usual unlimited text message bells and whistles, with an extra $10 required for premium data, which is a necessary on the iPhone 4S.
AT&T iPhone 4S deals
Same price across all US networks for the iPhone 4S. $199 for the 16GB and then $100 dollar jumps each memory boost.
Opt for a nation 450 plan for $39.99, or a 900 for $59.99 or unlimited for $69.99. You can then add data at either $15 for 200MB, $25 for 2GB or 4GB for $45. Another $20 per month will get you unlimited messaging.
Phones4u iPhone 4S deals
Phones4u is offering quite a wide range of iPhone 4S deals, including some rather juicy ones for those looking to pick up the top spec 64GB handset. Opt say for a contract with Orange over 24 months, at £46 per month and you will need to shell out £189 for the 64GB iPhone 4S. This brings with it no less than 1200 minutes and 3000 texts, as well as 750MB of data to play with.
Down the 16GB spectrum of the iPhone 4S, the best we can see is Vodafone's 24 month, £41 per month offering. This asks you shell out £59 for the handset but includes 900 minutes and 3000 texts as well as 750MB of data and European browsing. You can opt to pay £46 per month and take the handset home for free.
