Apple has refreshed its iPod nano and iPod touch media devices, including a new white version of the touch.

The iPod nano now operates on a single icon swipe style structure, rather than the grid used in previous versions. Fitness features now don't require accessories and have been drastically improved with the new nano.

The updated iPod touch is to be sipped in white as well as standard black look. It is also going to ship with iOS 5 included and feature the usual Retina display, HD video and in-built gyroscope for gaming.

The touch is going to be a 12 October launch, alongside iOS 5 and most of Apple's iCloud functionality. It is going to be priced in at $399 for a 64GB version and $299 for a 32GB version, there is also a $199 8GB option. In the UK those prices will be £169 for the 8GB version, £249 for the 32GB version and £329 for the 64GB version.
