The Eton Sound 50 is a new iPod peripheral from the States that is hoping to make it onto Brits' Christmas lists.

The Sound 50 is a Stereo Media Player & Dock complete with slimline remote control that can charge an iPod during playtime.

The multi-functional dock will let you use the line-in socket to listen to your computer in stereo as well as other audio sources.

Claiming to offer "room-filling, hi-fidelity sound", the Sound 50 offers dual twin full range drivers and micro-tweeters to provide balanced sound across the entire frequency range.

Mains powered, it measures 250 x 155 x 146mm, is available in either "Astro Black" or "Glossy White" for £99.95.
