It felt like only yesterday that we were bringing you details of a leaked HTC handset; oh wait it was, and yet here we are again, dear reader, bringing you details of yet another smartphone. The word "colander" springs to mind.
Still, who are we to deny you a lovely, ripe rumour? This time the rumour is that the HTC Sensation, already on sale in the UK, will be getting Beats update following HTC’s $300 million investment in the headphone maker.
According to Cnet in the US, a special edition version of the phone will come with better audio options, a faster processor, more internal storage, and a bigger battery to power it all.
The Sensation Special Edition will also come with a set of Beats headphones.
In the leaked document, the processor speed is listed as a Qualcomm 8260 1.5GHz processor, up from the dual-core 1.2GHz in the current iteration.
Internal storage gets quadrupled to 4GB, and battery life gets a punch up, going from 1,520mAH to a more respectable 1,730mAh.
Other specs supposedly include an 8-megapixel camera and pre-installed 8GB microSD slot.
However, the Sensation Special Edition model isn’t the first "with Beats" smartphone leak we’ve seen out of HTC since the company invested.
Earlier this week we reported on the HTC Runnymead, an Android touting 4.7-inch Super LCD-packing smartphone that also supposedly comes with a 1.5GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera and Beats headphones.
According to the document, the HTC Sensation Special Edition 2 will cost £520 SIM-free or free on a £35-a-month, 2-year contract.
Sadly, the document doesn’t suggest which operator or phone shop leaked the details.
