Reuters reports that the Lenovo Group has unveiled its first new Think-branded products since buying the PC division of IBM in 2005.

Two new products were announced, the ThinkStation S10 and the ThinkStation D10, PCs aimed at the business market.

On the back of news that the company's revenue for the recent financial quarter increased 20%, the Chinese group also revealed that they are to drop the "IBM" branding from their products, from a Lenovo statement:

"One important sign of progress is our decision to completely transition our Think products from the IBM brand to the Lenovo brand 2 years earlier than planned."

"This is Lenovo stepping out from under IBM's umbrella and trying to establish an identity of their own", Enderle Group principal analyst Rob Enderle told Reuters.

Enderle said that although this move was highly significant, it will be Lenovo's expected move into the consumer PC market - thought to be next year - that will be "crucial".
