10-inch HTC tablet spy shots come with AT&T and 4G branding

According to rumours, we’ve known for some time that HTC is developing a 10-inch Honeycomb powered tablet codenamed the HTC Puccini; and now it seems we have proof, thanks to some spy shots that have turned up online.

An anonymous Engadget reader has sent the gadget site a bevy of shots of the 10-inch tablet with AT&T branding on the front and 4G LTE branding on the back.

Further digging from the site suggests that the HTC Puccini, or whatever it's eventually called, will feature a 1.5GHz dual-core processor onboard, alongside 1GB of RAM, Honeycomb, 16GB of storage and a 10.1-inch WXGA touchpanel. The pictures also show that the tablet will be packing an 8 megapixel camera.

Notice the absence of the pen in that list. That’s not to say that it’s not going to be supported, but we are hearing it will be downplayed and an optional extra rather than bundled in the box.

No word on when the Puccini will be launched, although word on the street - yes it really is that rough out there - is that it should be with us before Christmas.
