Kinectimals, the motion controller based animal interaction game, is set to hit Windows Phone. Hand movements will be replaced with touch screen controls, allowing the same sort of functions found in the original Kinectimals game.

As well as transforming Windows Phone 7 into a sort of mobile tamagotchi, the new software means proper Xbox Live integration, allowing you to bring over any achievements or get involved with leaderboards.

An additional Kinectimals fix can be gained from the 'now with bears' expansion which will add..well bears..to the game. Expect the console software to launch on 11 October.

No release date as of yet for the mobile software. Details on interaction between consoles and mobile phones remain hazy, but a QR code element will be used in order to transfer animals.
