Music-playing sun-specs

They're baaack! Oakley has launched a new version of its Thump sunglasses - this time called the Split.

They may look like a normal pair of shades, but - oh no - these come with an MP3 player built-in so will free you from wires if you wanted to go for a jog. While it's sunny.

Specifications are more promising than you'd think from what's essentially a novelty pair of goggs, with support for MP3, protected and unprotected, WMA, AAC and WAV and eight hours of battery life.

With earphones built into the frames too, the new Thump model comes in 512MB, 1GB and 2GB versions and will cost between $249 and $399 when they go on sale in the States soon.
