T7 MP3 player offers images on the go

New MP3 player available at MP3-Plus

Mp3 plus are touting a new MP3, video playback device called the T7. The player will come in three sizes - 512Mb, 1Gb and 2Gb models and offer video play back on its rather tichy 1.3in screen.

The units will cost £109 for the 512Mb version, £139 for the 1Gb and £219 for the 2Gb version. However considering you can get the iriver H10 that allows you to view images albeit not video for £50 less we can't really see the appeal here.

That aside the T7 will offer video playback on its 256k colour screen at 25fps. Audio playback comes in the favour of MP3, WMA, OGG and WAV while the unit will also support Jpeg picture playback as well.

Connection is via USB2.0 and the player according to the specs also features SRS/WOW/TRU BASS, an FM radio, voice recorder, direct encoding and a Li-Polymer Battery.
