Cell Passion has the scoop on Sony Ercisson's forthcoming handset launches for 6th November.Apparently the company are due to announce three new handsets as well as a range of Bluetooth accessories.
If these rumours are to be believed, there will be two new additions to the Walkman-branded line and a non sub-branded offering with web capablities. Here's the deets, from the source site:
"W890i: A 3G Walkman phone with accelerometer, it is an upgrade of the W880i. This will have Play Now 4.0 as well as a new version of the Walkman player. There will be a 3.2-megapixel camera onboard."
"W380i: An upgrade of the W300i, it will have a new feature called gesture control. I’m not very sure of what it will do, but it will control the Walkman player by some gestures. It is not a 3G phone."
"K660i: The USP of this 3G phone will be its web browsing capabilities. It will allow users to browse the web in the landscape mode and will come with a pointer cursor. To me, it smells like Opera!"
Pocket-lint will be attending the UK launch event for these new devices, so we'll bring you all the news as we have it...
