Google Nexus Prime: Samsung device incoming?
A couple of weeks back we told you how Boy Genius Report claimed to have the lowdown on the next-gen Nexus Android device, and now its back to add to the declaration.
You may remember before how the report detailed an LTE equipped handset, with a whopping 720p display, a 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM?
Well, now there's more details on the display, which will apparently be “Super AMOLED HD” - and we all know who's in the Super AMOLED business don't we?
Yep, Samsung that's who - the new bookies favourite (the made up bookie in Pocket-lint's mind at least) to make the first Ice Cream Sandwich device, codenamed "Prime".
The processor has also been detailed - it's a 1.5 GHz Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A9 OMAP one.
Interestingly, BGR is also claiming that Ice Cream Sandwich could arrive on multiple devices, from multiple carriers "at practically the same time… in addition to a Google Nexus handset from Samsung".
Roll on the Android 4.0 revolution.....
