Sony is hoping to increase the uptake of 3D with a new 24-inch 3D monitor due out later this year.
The new TV, aimed at the bedroom user, will allow gamers to enjoy some of the new 3D titles out later this year like Uncharted 3 and Resistance 3 without having to splash out on an expensive 3D television.
As previously covered on Pocket-lint in February, the monitor will also allow gamers to enjoy split screen action with two players, with both gamers seeing the full screen rather than just half.
The new 3D monitor will come with one pair of new 3D active shutter glasses, a 6ft HDMI cable, and a copy of Resistance 3. It will cost $499.
The new glasses, which Sony says will work on a number of TV’s and not just BRAVIA models will cost $69.99.
