Apple has updated the UK online store with newly specced MacBooks featuring the Santa Rosa chipset. This refresh has been expected, but has not yet been announced by Apple.

The range now offers the 13-inch £699 model with 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 13-inch, 2.16GHz Intel 2 Duo for £829 and £949 gets you the black MacBook with the same spec, but the larger, 160GB hard drive.

MacBook Pros have seen an update to 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo for the lowest specced model, while the mid 15-inch and 17-inch options gets 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

A graphics chip update appears to be the only other change.
