VIDEO: Cats playing games on an iPad - what more do you want?

Treading a fine line between cute, funny and cruel, cat food brand Friskies has created three applications for the iPad and Android tablets that are designed entirely to be played by cats. According to the company, "the colours, movement and game-play have been researched and tested for maximum feline fun." And, from the evidence in the video, they certainly love a bit of iPad action.

Each of the Friskies Games for Cats - Cat Fishing, Tasty Treasures Hunt and Play Party Mix-Up - are created in HTML5/CSS3 so run in a browser and, therefore, don't need to be installed. Instead, just navigate to www.gamesforcats.com and away you go. Well, your cat anyway...

That said, there's something strangely calming about clicking on fish, so maybe you do fancy giving them a go after all. A word of warning though, after ten minutes play you may suddenly get a hankering for dead mice and licking your own knackers.

A follow up to Games for Cats, Spreadsheets for Hamsters, is unconfirmed at present.

Can you think of any more applications for pets, amusing or otherwise? Let us know in the comments below...
