iPhone and iPod Touch get unlock without PC or Mac

No need for a computer to get 3rd party software on device

Hacking the iPhone has just got a lot easier after a new hacking tool was released on to the Internet this week.

The new tool allows owners of firmware 1.1.1 iPhones and iPod touchs to open up their devices to third-party apps all without the need for a host Mac or PC.

The utility called AppSnapp launches via the devices' Safari web browser.

However the software won't unlock the phone to be used with sim cards other than O2 in the UK or AT&T in America. For that, users will still have to download and install programs such as AnySim.

You can download the software from your iPhone from jailbreakme.com
