Nintendo has announced the Wii Zapper is to launch across Europe.Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, the Wii Zapper is a frame that houses both the Wii controllers, providing users with an exciting new way to play on Wii.
The Wii Zapper comes bundled with Link’s Crossbow Training and will be compatible with various other upcoming titles, including Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, as it launches across Europe on 7th December 2007.
In Link’s Crossbow Training players use the Wii Remote in the Wii Zapper to aim at targets on the screen, with the Nunchuk controlling movement.
On the Wii Remote, players simply press down the trigger (the B Button) to fire, or continue the pressure for a more powerful shot.
They can also re-position themselves, turning in different directions by aiming the pointer off-screen. On the Nunchuk the Z-Button acts as a zoom function for the camera so that the shot is completely on target.
The Wii Zapper and Link’s Crossbow Training launches across Europe on 7th December at an estimated retail price of around 30 euros.
