Royal Ceremony at Westminster Abbey gets Photosynth treatment

You no doubt watched the royal wedding as it happened, but now you can relive moments from the Westminster Abbey thanks to the help of Microsoft and it’s Photosynth software.

“In celebration of the Royal Wedding, we have assembled a Photosynth capturing the ceremony in its full panoramic splendor,” Microsoft tells us. “You can explore Westminster Abbey from multiple perspectives, zoom in on the Royal Family and see the minute details of this historic occasion.”

What that means in reality, is that you can now spend the next 20 minutes, or more if you like, looking in minute detail at a succession of photographs that together make up the moment William and Catherine were in the church.

Yep you can get in really close, like close enough to see that Prince Philip doesn’t wear a wedding ring either.

Isn’t technology wonderful?
