If you can’t be there for a special celebration or commiseration, then pre.vu want to help you out by sending a talking message tag that you’ve pre-recorded.

From this month, the world's first pre-recordable message tags, called pre.vu Talking Message Tags, will be available in Britain.

These credit card sized mementos enable the sender to record a special message of up to 60 seconds which can be replayed hundreds of times by the recipient.

Recording the message tags is is done via your computer, or over the phone. Visit www.pre.vu and order online. You can then either record the message via a dedicated phone line or direct from your computer.

As soon as you are happy with your recording, you press the order button and the recorded tag is sent to you or delivered directly to the ultimate recipient.

The whole service, including postage and packing, costs £5.50.
