HTC announced on Monday the HTC HD7S for AT&T, a variant of the HTC HD7 available already on T-Mobile in the US and O2 in the UK.

The phones for all intents and purposes are identical except one small detail: the new HD7S features a Super LCD screen rather than an LCD screen.

So does it make a difference? We put the two models side by side to find out.

It’s clear that the HD7S is the better of the two, plus you’ll get a phone that you can use in 2 years time after T-Mobile shuts down its spectrum if and when the AT&T merger goes through.
