Apple iPad now £329 - while stocks last
Apple fans who’ve held off so far in buying the first tablet, and can’t stretch to what is expected to be £439 for the new model, will be able to snap up the now older device from the Apple Store.
£329 will get you a 16GB Wi-Fi-only model, while spending £399 will give you the 32GB, and £479 will give you the 64GB Wi-Fi-only models.
Those looking to go 3G will now get one for £429, £499 and £579 respectively for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models.
While Apple has detailed the prices for the 18 different models available in the US (six storage configurations, two colours, and two carrier options) it has yet to offer them for sale or even pre-order in the UK.
“Further international availability and pricing will be announced at a later date.”
As for how long the deal will last, an Apple spokesperson who we talked to at the launch of the iPad 2 wouldn’t say. They did, however, confirm that the deals where on until stocks lasted, and that “if you want one, you should be quick.”
