Sprint, the US carrier, has teased its Twitter followers with the news that it will be launching a Windows Phone 7 smartphone on 24 February - that's this week if you hadn't worked that out.

"If you could design a brand new phone, what would it have? Ours will have a hub for gaming, music, pictures and video. #comebackfeb24", said the company.

Just so happens that's exactly what Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system offers. Rumours circling previously hint at a CDMA version of the HTC HD7.

More as we get it.
