Staples and Dell have announced that starting on November 11th in the States, customers will have the option to buy a wide assortment of Dell notebook and desktop computers, monitors, printers, ink and toner through Staples.

This deal is the latest in a series of retail agreements Dell has signed across the globe, and the company says it is "part of its ongoing efforts to extend the advantages of its direct business model ... aimed at reaching more customers worldwide".

"We know our customers will appreciate the ability to see, touch and immediately take Dell products to the home or office", said Ron Sargent, chairman and CEO, Staples.

"By becoming Dell’s first comprehensive retailer in the Americas, and deepening our offerings with one of the world’s most respected brands, we’re making it easy to buy great technology products this upcoming holiday season and beyond."

Dell recently announced relationships with Gome stores in China, Bic Camera Inc. in Japan, Carphone Warehouse in the UK and Wal-Mart in the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.
