Tesco to offer Trim Trolleys

Build up a sweat by the time you get to the check-out

Well, we haven't yet spied these in the Pocket-lint neck of the woods, but it's being reported that Tesco are planning to offer "Trim Trolleys".

As if doing the weekly shop wasn't enough of a chore, multi-taskers will be happy to note you can now apparently turn your supermarket sweep into a mini-gruelathon.

The Trim Trolleys are much heavier than standard shopping trolley and get harder and harder to push as the levels increase.

The pusher's heart rate and amount of calories they've burnt in the process will be shown on a screen, presumably to justify that extra large bar of Dairy Milk that's about to be purchased.

Not for us thanks, shopping trolleys can be enough of a struggle to push round in a straight line without any after-market tinkering...
