Queue barriers? Check.

Early opening time? Check

Hordes of whooping and cheering Apple staff? Check.

Massive line of people waiting to get the latest Apple device? Er.......no, not exactly (unless two is a massive number?).

These were the scenes at the Apple Store at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, and reports suggest the lines weren't any bigger anywhere else for the Verizon CDMA iPhone 4.

The longest queue was apparently 40 people outside of a Verizon Wireless store in Hoboken, New Jersey.

On the plus side, at least this was one Apple launch where Pocket-lint's news monkey (i.e. this writer) didn't have to roll out of bed at silly AM for.

Best part of the video? The nonplussed gentleman in the sweat pants. Awesomeness.
