Samsung is to unveil new screens in Japan at the end of this week that hands-down beat Sharp's 20mm thick world thinnest TVs we saw at IFA 2007.

Samsung's new displays will offer thickness (or should that be thinness?) of just 10mm and will range in size to the 40-inch model pictured.

We will bring you more info on the range when it is officially launched.
