Trendy tech: Armani 3D glasses

Armani Exchange has added to ever-growing pile of trendy 3D specs by releasing the A|X 3D eyewear.

The unisex bins are of the 80s navigator style and have a crystal grey plastic front and sleek shiny black metal temples.

They are designed to fit in with the "highest standards required for 3D movie theatre viewing" so we're guessing that they are RealD compliant.

The glasses (model number DV 001 AX) feature the A|X branding and have multi-layered mirrored lens coating to minimise "distortion when looking in a mirror" - which is probably a frequent activity for the types of people that would buy designer 3D specs.

Back to the tech and they have an additional coating on back of the lens to reduce glare and scattered light and "the optically correct 6-base curved lenses with circular polarized technology will allow 98+ per cent of visible light through which will provide edge-to-edge distortion-free viewing in a movie theatre environment".

Not convinced they're cool enough yet? Then consider the fact that Joe Jonas, Kat Graham, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Grey Damon, Nico Tortorella and Sara Paxton are all supporters of the glasses. Sure, we're not 100 per cent certain who they are - but don't ever say Pocket-lint doesn't know how to name-drop.

Priced at $58.00, the A|X 3D glasses are now available exclusively in the US at A|X Armani Exchange stores and on armaniexchange.com.
