DigiTimes is reporting that HTC plans to launch a new GPS-enabled touch-controlled PDA phone, the HTC Touch Cruise, in November, quoting "sources familiar with the company's roadmap".

The Touch Cruise, which originally went under the codename "Polaris", will be powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7200 400MHz processor and Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 OS.

The new PDA phone, boasting a 2.8-inch QVGA screen and a 3-megapixel camera with auto-focus, will have HTC's improved TouchFLO technology and HSUPA, the sources added.

Another industry source adds to the credibility of the rumours with the info that additional specs will include Bluetooth, 128MB RAM, 256MB of ROM, and b/g Wi-Fi plus a front camera for video calling.

HTC also plans to add to its "Touch" line-up with at least three new models, two 3.5G smartphones and one EDGE-enabled model, the sources said.
