Trio of Panasonic compacts added to the line-up

As well as adding 3D to its rugged compact with the TS3, Panasonic has also announced the arrival of three other new compacts - the Lumix ZS10, Lumix ZS8 and the Lumix FX78.

Like the TS3, the ZS10 also features Panasonic's new 3D shooting mode, can shoot high-resolution full-HD 1920 x 1080 60i videos in AVCHD and has the Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens.

It is a 14.1-megapixel camera, with a 16x optical zoom, and packs a 3-inch, 460,000-dot touchscreen LCD which lets you zoom, auto focus and playback.

The ZS10 also features a built-in GPS function for geotagging your pics whilst you can instantly upload your images to Facebook and your videos to YouTube using the Lumix Image Uploader.

The ZS8 is the ZS10's little brother (it lacks the 3D and GPS features) but still packs a 24mm ultra-wide angle, 16x optical zoom, 720p HD video recording and a 3-inch 230,000-dot LCD.

The FX78 packs the 3D options, and is a 12.1-megapixel camera with a F2.5-5.9 5x zoom lens starting at 24mm, and can shoot 1920 x 1080 video in AVCHD and it also boasts Dolby Digital Creator to record high quality audio.

All of these models will be available in March, with prices still to be confirmed.
