webOS notebooks from HP are on the horizon, with the computer giant spilling the beans via a new training video.
In the webOS Central training video 101 (which is intended for phone salespeople, and is also incredibly cheesy) a suave sounding chap is explaining all the benefits of webOS to a very giggly girl (you can't actually see what's going on in the video but it's pretty clear he's at least playing footsie with her at this point).
When she finally understands what webOS actually is, she says: "That's hot. Love it. Why can't I do all that stuff on my PC?"
And the gent replies: "Maybe you will. That's the big idea".
They talk about how great it would be to have webOS running on a "phone and a slate and a netbook" and how amazing it would be if "they all talked to each other and shared information" like a "friendly little product family...that connects you to the world in amazing new ways".
The chap finishes with: "Today, let's start with the phones. Tomorrow will come soon enough", before they nip into the store cupboard for a bit of ruff and tumble.
When "tomorrow" will be is still unclear, although the giggly girl does say "don't wait too long, I'm ready to be amazed again", and we think she's talking about webOS at this point - although it's hard to tell amongst the plethora of sexual innuendo.
