PES 2011 and Fable make their way onto Windows Phone 7

During its CES keynote Microsoft mentioned that some big game titles would be coming to its latest mobile OS, Windows Phone 7, and a few of these titles have now been detailed. The line-up includes PES 2011 and a new Fable title.

Starting with PES 2011, a "bespoke" Windows Phone 7 version will launch in early 2011 and will focus on the "incredible realism and gameplay its console versions are famed for, and offers the most advanced team and player AI in a mobile game".

It will have a "true-flow" control system on board, allowing you to determine how much AI you want and how much total control you need.

“PES 2011 arrives on a new format, bringing its intense realism and stunning gameplay to a whole new audience,” commented Florian Stronk, head of Network Business Development for Konami Digital Entertainment.

“PES gamers can now hone their skills while away from their system, while the true ethos of PES – skill, timing and beautiful football – can be enjoyed at any time, everywhere.”

Fable will come to WP7 courtesy of a new title called Fable III: Coin Golf. The game will combine "the fun of traditional British pub games with the logic of modern puzzle games".

It may sound a bit bizarre (especially if your traditional pub games are like Pocket-lint's; pool and darts) but it is designed to be a Xbox360 Fable III companion game and you can earn gold and unlock new skills that can then be transferred back to your console (or PC).

Also coming to WP7 is Game Room with classic titles from yesteryear including Centipede and Asteroids Deluxe as well as Full House Poker, Pac-Man and Pocket-God.
