There were always going to be a few apps that would cause a commotion when the Mac App Store opened its doors for business (which it has just done) and the one that was always going to cause the biggest flap (see what we did there?) was going to be Angry Birds.

And with the massively popular mobile title going live for Windows courtesy of the Intel AppUp center, it was always on the cards - but to have it available at launch is nice.

It costs £2.99 and, not surprisingly, has also hit the number one paid app spot (with Twitter leading the way for free apps).
