Acer reveals beTouch E210 budget Android smartphone

It's not all about Android tablets and super-high spec smartphones over in Vegas, you know. There is room for more affordable options as well.

Options like the Acer beTouch E210, which packs Froyo without packing a hefty price-tag (at least it shouldn't).

The E210 features a full QWERTY keyboard and is powered by a ST Ericsson PNX6715, 416MHz processor, with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM.

Connectivity is via HSDPA / HSUPA 900/2100 MHz or 850/1900Mhz or GSM / Edge  850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz, WiFi, integrated GPS and Bluetooth 2.1.

It has a 2.6-inch QVGA display and has a 3.2-megapixel camera on the back and you can share your pics easily on your social networks using the share button.

Available in light silver and shiny black, the E210 will be available in the UK from March 2011, pricing TBA.
