Panasonic used its CES press conference to officially announce its Viera Tablet, which is due out by the end of 2011. The device is designed to work with a variety of cloud services in conjunction with the maker's Viera televisions.
The Viera tablet - which we managed to get a sneak preview of before it was officially unveiled - offers an LCD touchscreen and will come in various screen sizes from four to ten inches. Technical specs are still thin on the ground so we'll bring you more news as soon as we have it. Although we managed to fight our way through the scrum of journalists to grab a close-up snap, we weren't able to get our hands on the closely guarded prototype just yet. Stay tuned.
