Acer has made its latest assault on your living room with the release of the sleek looking Acer Revo 100.
The Revo 100 is able to stand horizontally or vertically, so should fit your specific living room setup and we have to say it looks like a rather funky looking nettop.
Although calling it a nettop might be serving it an injustice as there is some pretty impressive tech packed in to its slim, matte black finished, chassis.
The Revo 100 boats a dual core AMD Athlon II Neo processor and has next-gen Nvidia Ion graphics hardware too, so 1080p playback shouldn't be an issue.
It has its own TV tuner and also has optical capabilities with the choice of a DVD burner or a BD combo drive. The latter provides full HD 3D playback if you hook it up to your 3D TV via the HDMI out.
You can have up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and up to 750GB of hard drive space. It has three USB ports, a multi-card reader, Wi-Fi connectivity and it also supports Acer's clear.fi tech, so you can get it talking to your home network.
One über-cool is that slotted below the optical drive you'll find the RevoPad which is a dual-mode wireless touchpad that switches between a touch keyboard and a multi-gesture pad when you toggle the switch.
The Acer Revo 100 is out now, with prices starting from around £600. Stay tuned for a Pocket-lint hands on soon.
