The Palm Pre 2 has just gone on sale in the UK for the sum of £399. And, if you're rocking the new handset, or even one of the old Palm webOS stalwarts, then you're gonna wanna get apped-up to the max.
The trouble is, there's a distinct lack of appage in the webOS App Catalog – with the most glaring omission being an official Twitter app.
And Pocket-lint must, simply must, know what Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian are up to.
Luckily, there's a free Twitter client, that goes by the name of.....
- Palm App Catalog
Yeah well, we're not awarding it AOTD for it's name obviously. It's included because of its simplicity and the fact that it's free.
Spaz has all of the ingredients that you'd expect from a modern Twitter client, including the ability to retweet, attach images, shorten URLs and view Tweeter's bios.
It also boast geolocation tagging of your tweets and you can even carry out simultaneous searches using multiple cards – this is made all the sweeter on the Palm Pre 2 as well, due to the new stacks feature in webOS 2.0.
The stacks feature also works well with external URLs that you may wish to follow from your time-line. It will stack the browser page right on top of your Spaz cards.
The latest version of Spaz also lets you log in and switch between multiple Twitter accounts by tapping your username and selecting the appropriate account.
Basically, if you're looking for a decent Twitter app for your Palm device, and you don't want to part with your hard earned cash then Spaz is the answer.
If only it didn't have such a silly name.
