Motorola has launched the MOTO U9, a phone that promises to be a "multi-sensory experience"

The metallic gloss finish phone, which first appeared in rumours back in July will be touch sensitive, come with Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 support and play Windows WMAv10 plus Janus DRM, MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC+ enhanced files.

Sporting a rather lousy 25MB of on-board user memory, music fans will be encouraged to invest in an optional microSD memory card that enables storage of 4GB of music, pictures and other media.

There will also be stereo Bluetooth connectivity and a 2 megapixel with 8x zoom camera featuring multi-shot feature, video capture and playback.

"MOTO U9 combines the surprising with the familiar with the next popular spin on Motorola's classic clamshell design". said Rob Shaddock, senior vice president of Feature and Mass Market Phones, Mobile Devices, Motorola.

MOTO U9 is expected to be available for purchase in fourth quarter of 2007 in Asia, Latin America and Europe.
