Aha! Commissioned by Fosters, Steve Coogan has returned to his most famous character, Alan Partridge, in a series of online exclusive videos. And the first is now available.
Titled "Mid Morning Matters", the episodes will be approximately 15 minutes each and feature webcam footage of Alan's latest radio show - all to hilarious effect.
Speaking about the series, Steve Coogan stated (as Alan), "I am delighted to announce that after years as a regional broadcaster on North Norfolk Digital my groundbreaking radio segment, Mid Morning Matters, will now be accessible to a potential audience of billions via the World Wide Web (www)."
"That it has taken Foster’s to help realise my dream of joining the information superhighway is a damning indictment of the established broadcasters whose shabby treatment of me on Sept 10th 2001 was frankly shabby. I made dozens of calls the next day, all of which were ignored."
"My appreciation must go to Armando Iannucci and Baby Cow for ignoring the lies, god bless them. In the meantime I look forward to “hanging out ‘n’ chillin” with the MySpace generation."
Check it out, it's a true treat for all Partridge fans.
Coogan can also currently be seen in BBC Two (and BBC HD) show The Trip, the Michael Winterbottom (A Cock & Bull Story, 24 Hour Party People) directed self-referential comedy, with friend and fellow comedian Rob Brydon.
And he's still putting together a prospective Alan Partridge movie to be filmed sometime in the new year.
For time being though, enjoy the above show, and you can also go to the dedicated Fosters website at www.fostersfunny.co.uk/alanpartridge/ to see a clip from next week's episode of Mid Morning Matters.
