Virgin Atlantic offers trips to the Galaxy
We at Pocket-lint can only dream of gaining entry to Virgin Atlantic's flagship Clubhouse at Heathrow Airport.
How we yearn to take a dip in its spa pool, relax at the cocktail bar, shoot some pool and some 8-bit aliens in the den, or chill on the roof garden. But alas, it isn't for the likes of us, so we'll go on dreaming.
If however, you are important enough to gain access to the exclusive airport lounge, then you'll also now be able to get your hands on one of the hottest pieces of tech kit at the moment - the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
In exchange for your boarding pass, you'll get a SamTab to play with in the lounge whilst you wait for your flight. And not just any old tablet, but one loaded with movies, music and games as well as the Clubhouse menus.
Simon Stanford, MD for mobile at Samsung UK and Ireland said: "The Galaxy Tab is a perfectly portable device which makes it great for travelling - whether it’s a short journey to work or a transatlantic flight.
"Our collaboration with Virgin allows us to demo the product in a real-life situation, where people have a genuine need for a portable entertainment device and we’re pleased to be able to give Virgin Clubhouse customers a chance to try before they buy".
And buy they might, as Samsung is predicting big numbers for its big phone.
"Consumer responses have been quite good", said JK Shin, head of Samsung's mobile division. "I said in Germany that more than a million units will be sold by end of this year. I think I can keep my word. I think it's possible to meet the one million sales mark this year".
We can't offer you a try before you buy - we can go one better. Pocket-lint has teamed up with Gameloft to give away a SamTab. But hurry, the competition ends on 7 November.
