Best Buy goes online in the UK

Best Buy, the US Consumer technology retail giant, has just announced the launch of its UK online website.

The upshot of this is that anyone in the UK who wants to get in on the Best Buy action, can do, through the new transactional website.

BestBuy.co.uk will go live on 4 November, and will feature "over 350 'Inspiration and Advice' guides and articles on the latest technology, product and service information written in plain English".

They've also teamed up with Reevoo, if you're after any customer feedback on products.

deVere Forster, managing director for Online at Best Buy UK said: "The launch of our e-commerce store on BestBuy.co.uk marks a key milestone for the business and helps to make buying technology simple, inspiring and tailored to each of our customers.  We are very excited that customers from across the UK will now be able to experience the Best Buy brand for the first time.

The website now joins Best Buy's recent store openings around the UK in Thurrock (Essex), Hedge End (Southampton), Merry Hill (West Midlands), Aintree (Liverpool), Croydon and Derby.
