Medion has announced that it is introducing a 15.4-inch Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo multimedia notebook into Sainsbury's stores throughout the UK from the beginning of November.

Including Windows Vista Home Premium edition, the Medion MD 96480 will be priced at £599.99 including VAT.

Medion's MD 96480 features a 1.50GHz dual-core Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB DDR II RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS dedicated graphics with 256MB GDDR II RAM.

The notebook houses a 15.4-inch TFT WXGA widescreen monitor optimised for DVD playback, a digital Freeview TV tuner with MCE remote control, high definition audio with six channel surround sound out and a dual-layer DVD re-writer.

Other specs to note are the integrated 4-in-1 memory card reader, 250GB hard disk, wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g, and
integrated webcam.
