Amazon.com has launched the Hi-Def 101 area of their site, described as a "Customer Knowledge Center".

Although it's all written in American, it could prove to be quite a useful resource for HD FAQs and terminology.

The popcorn maker pictured? Not technically hi-def, but part of the suggested $11k "ultimate" HD home cinema set-up. Nice.
