Vodafone has come out of the gate all guns blazing, keen to get people onto Windows Phone 7, if its two new WP7 price plans are anything to go by.
The UK operator has confirmed to Pocket-lint that the HTC Trophy 7 will be available on a 2-year contract with 300 minutes, unlimited text messages, and 500MB of data for free (yes, free) if you are happy to pay £25 a month - the same as the HTC Legend, in fact.
If the HTC 7 Trophy isn't for you, then the LG Optimus 7 - complete with a 3.8-inch WVGA 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen and 16GB of internal storage - will come with 600 minutes, 500MB of data, and unlimited texts for £30 a month if you are happy to sign up to a 24-month contract.
Both handsets will be available from 21 October (Microsoft's General Availability day).
Vodafone is certainly hoping that the two handsets and aggressive pricing will give it the edge over O2's exclusivity on the HTC HD7, and T-Mobile and Orange's (Everything Everywhere) exclusive, the HTC Mozart.
So, will you be getting either the HTC Trophy 7 or LG Optimus 7? Let us know in the comments below...
