Three offers new BlackBerry PAYG option
Three has announced that BlackBerry Pay As You Go is now available on its network, providing fans of RIM an opportunity to get some of their favourite devices on a more casual basis.
If you want to go PAYG you'll have to start off with the BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G, which will be available on Three’s recently announced All in One plan; offering up a deal for £10 - 3000 texts, 100 minutes and 500MB data: £219.99 including £20 top-up in 3 stores and £209.99 including £10 top-up on-line. Pay As You Go subscription to BlackBerry services then costs £5 and lasts for 30 days.
Other BlackBerry devices will be available in Q4.
The BlackBerry Torch 9800, which features a touchscreen with a QWERTY slider and BlackBerry's new OS v6.0, will also be made available through the operator. As Sylvia Chind, head of branded devices at Three said: "When paired with Three’s high speed network, the BlackBerry Torch really comes into its own, allowing users to access their favourite web pages and social networking sites with ease" - so there you go.
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is available in black with Three on contract for £35 a month on The One Plan - 2000 any network minutes, 5000 Three-to-Three minutes, 5000 texts and 1GB data - and a £249 handset charge.
