Nintendo Wii goes red for Super Mario Bros' 25th Birthday

Super Mario Bros was first released onto the NES back in 1985, and to mark the 25th anniversary Nintendo is releasing a red-coloured Wii.

The console will come complete with Nintendo's brand new Wii Remote Plus controller as well as a copy of the Super Mario Bros game built in.

And, as it's a 25th anniversary celebration, all of the question-marked gold bricks will say "25" instead of the usual "?", making the console even more unique.

The new shade of Wii will hit shops in Japan on 11 November, priced at 20,000 yen (about £150), but with no UK release planned, expect eBay to be your friend if you want in on the red action.
