Samsung has just announced a partnership with Phones 4u to support the Pink Ribbon campaign, which it hopes will help drive awareness of breast cancer in the UK.
Along with an awareness of breast cancer, the scheme will also help drive awareness of Samsung's new Galaxy Tab and Galaxy S smartphone, which are available from Phones 4u.
When you buy either of these Samsung products from the Phones 4u shop, a donation will be made to Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the UK’s leading charity committed to fighting breast cancer through research, campaigning and education. Each sale of a Galaxy tablet or Galaxy S phone will equate to a £10 and £5 donation respectively.
So everyone's a winner; Samsung and Phones 4u get to turn a tidy profit and look good in the process, whilst an important charity receives some, no doubt, much needed funds.
If you're in the market for one of the devices then you can make a purchase of either device at www.phones4u.co.uk, or www.dialaphone.com - which is part of the 4u group.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available from 1 November.
