Samsung has revealed that its much anticipated 7-inch tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, will be hitting UK shops on 1 November.
And whilst it's all well and good that we know when we're going to be able to get our hands on the super tab, it still isn't clear how much of our hard-earned moolah we're gonna have to part with for the pleasure.
However, with the device being made available to the DSG Group (i.e. Currys on the high street), we are fairly certain that you'll be able to get the SamTab offline, without signing up for a contract.
It will, of course, be available across various networks should you wish to sign into a contract.
Simon Stanford, managing director, Mobile, Samsung UK and Ireland said:
"At Samsung we recognise consumers want to experience life without limits. The Samsung Galaxy Tab brings a very unique proposition to the tablet market and from 1 November, gives consumers the ultimate in connectivity and portability that they have been waiting for. It can be enjoyed by anyone - commuters, students, parents, businesses - who want to experience a complete range of entertainment, whether that be watching movies, listening to music, reading newspapers, or simply making a phone call plus much more besides".
But enough about what the Samsung bods think (and are paid to think), what do we at Pocket-lint make of the Galaxy Tab? Well, check out our first look and all will be revealed.
