Apple has updated its Apple Remote app, adding support for the company's new Apple TV and iPad in the process.

The remote, which allows you to control the company's pseudo set-top box, also gets retina display support for the iPhone 4 and iPod touch (4G) and support for Shared Libraries on iTunes and new Apple TV.

Not surprisingly you'll also get support for the new iTunes 10 and of course the usual barrage of bug fixes.

Those who aren't fussed with control over their iTunes library from their phone should move on, there is nothing else to see here.
