Philips are still bashing away at the MP3 player market. Allow us to introduce the SA9345 and SA9325 which are the 4GB and 2GB versions of their latest offerings, just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?The higher specced SA9345 is a flash memory based MP4 player, measures 9cm long, weighs 48g and has a 1.8-inch colour LCD screen.
The players feature Philips' touch-sensitive screen interface as well as a backlit "sensory" touchpad and "SuperScroll" interface that takes you through the graphic icon-based menu.
The SA9345 features an integrated FM radio, supports MP3 and WMA audio and 320 x 240 resolution WMV9 content. Other video formats are supported using the provided converter software.
The players sync with Microsoft Windows Media Player in XP or Vista while PlaysForSure lets owners use "portable" subscriptions available via Microsoft Windows DRM10.
The rechargeable battery offers a 10 hours for music playback and up to 2 hours for video. Both models are on sale now for £99 and £129.
